What is an Auto Dialer?
An auto dialer is a system that automatically dials phone numbers and plays a recorded message or connects the call to a live person. Auto dialers are often used by telemarketers, debt collectors, and other organizations to make large numbers of calls quickly and efficiently.
Some auto dialers are programmed to only make calls to numbers that are on a pre-approved list, while others may be configured to dial numbers randomly or sequentially. Auto dialers help users (usually call centre agents) avoid the hassle of manually dialling numbers for outbound calls.
